Jonathan played VERY well, its just crazy how he knows his crowd..From about 2:30 to 5:00, he was playing kinda, ehh, just some decent house, nothing to make you go nuts, but all the goofs were loving it...At about 5:00 he played one of his patented "suicide house" songs, and looped the breakdown for about 10min. I stood there and said to myself, he is either setting something BIG up, or he is playing these douchebags out..Sure enough, as soon as he mixed out of that track, all the meatheads, that were ruining the vibe were gone, and it felt like SF in there for the last two hours, where he ripped a tech set, that just blew my mind...
After a few kinks get ironed out, and they get an afterhours lic. they will really have something there, I see a MAJOR run comming...Johnny is BAAAAAAAACK, and I will be there on a regular basis!
Oh yea, saw Puff Daddy walking down W27th street before we went in, which alone made my night..
