Back when I lived in NYC in the 90's through 2001, there were any number of safe, fun after hours bars to go to drink, relax, etc.to pass the gray hours 'til 8:00 am. Without being indiscreet, or stupid, can you tell me if these sorts of places are still around Manhattan, have moved across the bridges to Brooklyn, Qweens. or just disappeared all together. THANKS.
