  1. AZULI BRINGS SECRET IBIZA TO LONDON On 8th November Club Azuli are recreating the vibe of their widely acclaimed Secret Ibiza beach parties at a secret location in Central London. This exclusive party is not to be missed. Expect to see the cool and the colourful make the effort to find the party and rediscover some of that original magical clubbing vibe. As in Ibiza, the location of the party will only be revealed by text message the day before it happens, adding to the excitement. Of course, in Ibiza there were many elements that made the parties special; the beach locations and stunning scenery for example. However, what really made these parties the talk of the island was the unique feeling, the atmosphere and the stylish crowds of party people that made the effort to discover them. And just as in Ibiza, this London party is one you’ll need to hear about on the grapevine and put in some effort to find; and as always, the greater the effort, the greater the reward. This is one of those special parties that you’ll never forget! Clubland seems to be in turmoil at the moment with big clubs either closing or failing to inspire. Arguably, we’ve forgotten what it was that made clubbing so special. In Ibiza over the summer Azuli rediscovered some of those magic ingredients. Their Secret Ibiza parties created excitement and intrigue. They were about the party, not the ticket sales. Guests like Andy Cato, Pete Tong and Yousef turned up to play with the likes of Danny Tenaglia hitting the dancefloor. Now it’s the turn of London to experience the return of the exclusive, underground party vibe. Azuli can be relied upon to deliver an amazing venue, special guest DJs with the best tunes and a stylish, up-for-it crowd. Azuli showed over the summer that they know how to attract a crowd of like minded people that can truly connect with each other, and create an atmosphere that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up! The only way to get to this party is to visit www.azuli.com/secretseries where tickets may be purchased. However, no information on the location will be released until the day before the party, when you will receive a text message with all the details. 2. Club Azuli is back on August 9th and is ready to cement its reputation as one of the UK’s finest club nights. As per usual, the Azuli team have suffered sleepless nights as they seek out the best of the world’s DJs to deliver another stunning line up. Club Azuli welcomes an exclusive back2back set from 2 of the most respected names in dance music Paul Harris and Steve Mac, both currently staring down the barrel of a crossover smash hit each. Flying in from Canada to support is talented young DJ/Producer Adam K and Azuli main man David Piccioni also lines up to rock the main room. And upstairs, the Global Room is hosted by Raw Club. Club Azuli have worked long and hard to ensure that you know what you’re going to get when you walk through the door. The production is top quality, the DJs are always second to none and the loyal hordes of trash glamour clubbers that call Club Azuli home guarantee an atmosphere that is unrivalled. If you want nothing more on a Saturday night than to lose yourself in the latest, electronic edged house music then welcome to Club Azuli... Paul Harris is dance music royalty. One half of Superbass and formerly a member of Dirty Vegas, he’s equally at home playing a dirty underground club as he is playing a fashion show for Hugo Boss! Alongside Dave Spoon and Sam Obernik, Paul Harris is behind ‘Baditude’, one of the biggest dance records currently blasting out of radios everywhere. As if Paul Harris was not enough, Club Azuli have decided to put him Back2Back with one of the UK’s biggest dance music talents, Steve Mac. Steve has forged an unbeatable reputation for delivering quality underground house and his skills have been called upon to remix everyone from Amy Winehouse to Unklejam. His track ‘Paddy’s Revenge’ is everywhere at the moment, causing Pete Tong to say “this is a number one record!†As a DJ Steve is a perfectionist, playing across 3 decks with FX and a sampler. A Paul Harris, Steve Mac Back2Back set is a rare Saturday night treat that any clubber should give themselves after a long hard week - don’t miss it! No one could say that Club Azuli don’t give you your money’s worth. Also on the line up and flying in from Canada is Adam K. This DJ/producer is one of the hottest names out there. His track Twilight produced with Soha was and remains a huge underground anthem and was Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune. Get to Club Azuli and stand back - Adam K’s about to blow!! Azuli head honcho David Piccioni is always a firm favourite with the Azuli faithful and never disappoints - expect the latest quality electronic cuts to hit the dancefloor hard. Also, warming things up, David Griffiths will be spinning some solid house grooves. In the Global Room, Raw Club take over, so expect deep, uplifting and vocal house alongside some electronic soul from Zepherin Saint and Miss Bailey. Sheyi will be there on percussion to add to the atmosphere and the spectacle!
  3. Club Azuli are back on 6th August with the third in their summer series of secret beach parties. The parties have been the talk of the island, attracting crowds of chic and stylish, music loving, beautiful Ibiza party people. The third instalment of Beach Azuli will be in a new, stunning, secret beach location somewhere on the island, where guests can enjoy an all day BBQ with blissed out beats, building to some of the best in electronic edged house, all with a Balearic slant. Clubbers will dance as the sun goes down surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery Ibiza has to offer. As always, special guest DJs will be turning up to make this a party that those lucky enough to find will never forget. Andy Cato from Groove Armada compared the Beach Azuli party he played at to the Space Terrace when he first came to the island many years ago. Azuli head honcho David Piccioni has created a very special vibe, made even more special by the fact that it’s not given to you on a plate. This is a party that you need to hear about on the grapevine and that requires effort to find; and as always, the greater the effort, the greater the reward. Ibiza regulars and those in the know are flocking to the Azuli beach parties, recognising them as a rare opportunity to experience the true Ibiza vibe, surrounded by the magical natural beauty of the island. These are the parties that will be talked about for many years to come. Next, start your mission to find the party and then revel in the fact that you made it when so many others will sadly miss out. If you need proof that these parties do exist, go to www.azuli.com/azuli_tv.php where you can find footage of the best parties the White Isle has seen for a very long time…
  4. Since the late 90’s Kosheen have dominated dancefloors and charts worldwide. Their live show continues to attract huge crowds and remains a festival favourite. On 28th July the two founder members of Kosheen, Darren Beale and Markee Morrison show that they continue to push their music forwards, remaining at the cutting edge, with the release of their first single as Kosheen DJs, ‘HotWax’. Kosheen have an army of fans for their sound, but anyone lucky enough to catch Kosheen DJs playing in a club will testify that they continue to push the boundaries, delivering a sound as up to date as any you will hear on the world’s most forward thinking dancefloors. ‘HotWax’ is a slice of hard edged electro, featuring vocals from Viva City frontman, Ali. Energetic and electronic, the main synth riff drives the track forwards until the vocal takes over. Ali uses his expressive and punk tinged delivery to create a darkly emotive vocal, perfectly suited to the track. The break builds in a swirl of electronic effects before dropping back into the main riff with an impact designed to seriously shake any dancefloor. As you would expect from producers as well versed in making music as Darren Beale and Markee Morrison, the production is flawless and demands to be heard over a big soundsystem. The Dub Mix produces the same dancefloor energy, but with minimal vocal, while the Kalmes Mix takes things deeper; based around a percussive groove the vocal is chopped in and out while pads are deployed to create a darker, more atmospheric take on the original. Next up the Divert Mix delivers a quality electro-breaks workout. The vocals take on an ethereal quality as they float above a warped bassline and rolling breaks drum loop. This is a package of remixes to reckon with. ‘HotWax’ is a statement of intent from Kosheen DJs; Kosheen may be a name with a celebrated past, but Kosheen DJs is music for the future.
