I mean, besides the residents who are all pretty damn good themselves, think about what DJ's you've each had in the past couple months:Krafty KutsElite Force10SuiTangentJosef PlanteAnd SOMEONE (not sure which of you) is having Rennie Pilgrem over next month...I'm sure I'm forgetting a few big names also...With that kind of lineup, we could seriously have a true breaks weekly or bi-weekly where there is a big headliner at every show, plus if your forces are combined, there would be more than enough people to fill up a place like Filter. I mean, about 75 people or so go to each of your parties every week, and if you were to alternate which local DJs are on each week, along with having one headliner in each week, then you'd probably be able to charge cover at the door, allow the DJs to spin on a better system, allow people to dance to breaks once a week, and allow the scene to grow exponentially. Also, since Filter has 2 rooms, you could even have both parties at the same place, and while they're not identical, they're similar enough to attract a good crowd.Just a thought. It might not happen, but I certainly hope it's something someone can look into.
