I only stayed for an hour and half to about 12:15 but the atmosphere was great and definitely looking forward to going back. Shalako was pretty good considering that I was going w/o high expectations but once Ulysses dropped some "Tall Pall" disco type track that kidna killed it but still had a good time. I actually have a job with an anal ass manager who REQUIRES me to be in by 7:30am... I have to get my ass up like 6:00 to make it on time... BUT I pissed him off today b/c I was an hour late =) Screw him... why can't managers judge people on their performance -vs- if they are in on time every morning?You should definitely check it out TeamJ5... I'm going to go next Thursday to check out the D n B night... I'll let ya know how it goes but from the feel of last night which took me about 5-10 minutes to get pretty comfortable in... it should be a good night.Oh yea... the $3 cover is nice too. teamj5 Posted June 27 Report Share Posted June 27 I routinely show up late and it doesnt affect my work performance. It just pisses off all the old timers hahaha.One o' these days i'll get to PL. I am starting to notice there are these small, un advertised electronic music parties all over the place. I'm not sure if they don't want anyone to know about them or what...it's weird. All these little scenes and weekly parties that have taken place over the last few years and I just hear about them now. I will never understand the club scene in this city.
