weyes
here's one from the good ol' days, kiddies: if you don't know something, asking questions is a great way to find out about it . (just a reminder that it's ok to not understand something, as long as you're willing to change that.)tune in tomorrow.
vicman
isnt it that guys that are notoriously famous for not asking directions or something?
weyes
o, that's not what i was referring to, but asking for directions is good, too. i just meant that, for instance, if you don't know how to roast a turkey, one doesn't have to feel embarrassed to ask. it's always better than burning thanksgiving dinner . vicman
alot of guys i know would probably crank the oven up to 600 thiunking the turkey would get done faster that way instead of asking someone result?take out for thanksgiving dinner w/ "special" sauce
weyes
i think turkey is just dry in general, not too good no matter what. if ya gotta smother it in anything, even gravy, it's no good.
vicman
yeah, the leaner cuts are dry, the darker cuts are better....i havent had turkey in a long time...i'm gonna get myself one and cook it
weyes
yeah, it's all about dark meat for me, even with chicken. why are people so obsessed with white meat?*no bad race jokes, please .
vicman
the white meat, because its lower in fat, but since the dark meat has a bit more fat, it has more flavor...you know, i've just been thinking that its been a long time since i've had fried chicken...i'm gunna whip up some

georgym
I agree that Thanksgiving time is Prime time for great Parties I caught John Aquaviva and Richie Hawtin at Limelight in NYC, just a couple of months b4 it closed down. I still have the flyer and wristband, there was something magical about that night
