With a discography boasting over 38 tracks, SELWAY has gained respect

as a producer, artist, and DJ. A classicly trained violinist, SELWAY

first started listening to techno as a teenager, while attending raves

in WASHINGTON DC. Driven with a passion for boundless varieties of music,

SELWAY describes his sound as "NEW WAVE TECHNO": A melding of 80's NEW WAVE,

ELECTRO, ACID HOUSE, FUNK, AND TECHNO. "It's hard to categorize my music,"

says SELWAY, "It's a lot of different things combined." He includes KRAFTWERK,

NITZER EBB, AND GEORGE CLINTON among his long and diverse list of influences

that have helped shape his sound. Many of his peers have taken note to

SELWAY'S talent: "JOHN SELWAY'S new record? I FUCKING LOVE IT." Says DJ SASHA.

SVEN VATH, a techno god to many, also lists SELWAY as a key player in the
