I like the end of the first CD and almost all of the second and Twilo Thunder never gets old.First time i saw sasha was at twilo. the SF cd had just come out, when he dropped twilo thunder everyone knew what the track was and the place just exploded. I'm getting ready to start a new lounge night at Alto Palato in a few weeks...hope you can swing by at some point...at least for the opening night...should be tight.Now for this thread...yes, it's 3 of Clubs...under the Bargain Clown Center sign on the northwest corner of Santa Monica and Vine...and right up the street (just south of Fountain) is On Vine, the fondue joint at 1235 N. Vine (Gumby, I think Jen is having her bday party there Saturday...I told her it was the perfect joint for it but I'll be in Chicago this weekend). I actually dj'd a friend's bday party there a few weeks ago...place is tight...same owners as Beauty Bar and Star Shoes...so it has the Euro feel, owner's from London...funky ass lounge though with dj's, etc. and that upstairs opium den-esque area with bean bags and pillow, kewl projections up there too...but yo, keep your eye out for Soma...your aural muscle relaxer...hehe. vicman Posted August 30 Report Share Posted August 30 i guess its the same, by the time your snuggled in bed friday night (or staurday morning) i'm still up...anmywho, well i leave for miami at 6am so gotta get up at 4 or so get ready and drive to the airport, hit the beach, meet up with old school friends down there, and end up at some club with other friends later in the night...wont go to hardcore 'cos i need to save energy for the following day.sunday, beach a gain, meet with more freinds, and get ready for tenaglia's 12 or 16 hr set where i will definitly get spannered, or like people say here "fucked up" with 3 russian hooligans and a tiny mexican (from the dc board) and a shitload of people from the miami board.funny thing is a supervisor from work is also in miami for the weekend, and she is a cutie, but yeah like anything is gonna happen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
