PINT SIZED SUPERSTAR DJ

10 Year Old signed to 1xtra.

Amarley Robinson McKenzie, just 10, has secured a place on 1Xtra, the BBC’s new specialist black music station.

McKenzie learnt his skills with tips from family friends and lots of practice at a local music shop. He said: "Some of my mum's friends gave me advice but some of it I learnt myself."

The 10 year old has been DJing since he was six. He said: "I would like to be doing the same thing in ten years time - only better."

He came to the attention of radio bosses after his mother sent them a demo tape, according to news.bbc.co.uk.

I love that hot "Doing the pigeon" (Burt and Ernie breakbeat remix) that he blends so nicely into the TECHNO version of "How much is that

Kid's straight up wicked!
