brickhouse
Tenaglia does mostly spin CDs....A few others...Eddie Baez (when I saw him, but I heard there were turntable problems later on)DJ HarveyDeeklineAnyone who's ever spun at Culture Club or DowntimeAlso, not that this necessarily counts, but Richie Hawtin primarily spins MP3's these days (using final scratch)It really depends on WHY you're spinning mostly CDs though...if it's because it's cheaper and you're playing the same shit as everyone else, it's kinda lame. If it's because you're producing music and don't have time to press it, or if you get a lot of CD promos, then I see no problem with it... I played a 4 1/2 hour set for their Independence Day Party and I played records for about half of my set. Saint James was also spinning there that night, and he played mostly records.
