phrankadelic Posted September 11 Report Share Posted September 11 i was wondering the same thing. but...it's not surprising. at least we had dixon here this past weekend. and the WHOLE jazzanova won't be in attendance. 2 of their dj's will be there along with special guests KOOP. that is going to be one PHAT night. if i weren't going to tampa...i would most definitely be there. i'm kicking myself in the ass about this one. this is going to be a conference-like party.the social club is the former Saphire Supper Club. The deal was we didn't want to take such a large financial risk so close to 9/11. That weekend was the only possible weekend and we just couldn't do it. Anyone driving up? phrankadelic Posted September 11 Report Share Posted September 11 thanks for clearing it up joe. i know it would've been a risk. it's easy for me to say yeah, go ahead and take it and it'll pay off. i'm not sure how it would've gone over. but with both jazzanova and koop...i personally think it would've blown away everyone. i thought jazzanova's set during the wmc was the best of the party. but i'm speaking from my personal tastes/opinions.
