Seriously, maybe one or two of the tracks on the CD came out after 2000. A lot of stuff on there I was rinsing a long time ago....if you're doing a Global Underground, I'd at least expect that you'd pick some decent new tracks. Just because it's a genre most of the GU people wouldn't know, that doesn't mean it's an excuse to play some of the most worn out (and not too exciting to begin with) music in the genre over the past few years. No bitching about the mixinbg, but then again it's GU which means it's probably all protooled anyway....Concerning New York New York, it was promoed out around February 2001, was slated to be released in October 2001, then 9-11 happened, not it's finally being released October 2002. Not that this hasn't already been said, just corroborating.........however, it was quite heavily promoed, so it probably isn't that rare for people to already have copies of it....
