How much do you HATE the cabaret laws in NY?

Recommended Posts

well, then do something about it. Vote for Scott Jefrey for governor on November 5.

YES TO DANCING

NO TO CABARET LAWS

Scott Jeffrey is fighting to repeal the Cabaret Laws. Cabaret Laws make dancing illegal and are used to close our city's bars, clubs and lounges. These businesses provide 27,000 jobs to young actors, artists, DJ's and musicians. Protecting this industry is vital to preserving our city's vibrant youth culture. Dancing is not a "quality of life" crime — Americans have the right to dance!

Some of his other platforms are:

REPEAL THE CIGARETTE TAX

GAY AND LESBIAN MARRIAGE EQUALITY

CHOICE IN EDUCATION

EMPOWER YOUTH

LEGALIZE MARIJUANA

RESTORE THE DRINKING AGE TO 18

EQUAL GUN RIGHTS

I dont really agree with his equal gun rights platform, but other than that... this guy has my support. I actually met him a few weeks ago and he's a very nice, down to earth guy...

Anyway... I just thought you all should know that there is someone running for government who isnt against us.

Chose wisely ;)

personally i think the ciggy tax is a good thing.

i mean, why should i have to pay for all you all's health insurance through my premiums?

p

I know he has no chance of winning... thats not why you vote for a third party candidate. You vote for them because when major parties look at where the independant votes go, they see what issues are important to people and take them into considertation when building their platforms. plus this guy does a lot of good lobbying work. And I guarantee you half the people on this board werent going to vote anyway... maybe this will motivate them to get off their asses.

votes DO matter.

and as soon as we get the treadmill factory going you wont have to worry about paying for the smokers' health care
