weyes Posted October 19 Report Share Posted October 19 pigeon-holing people is only hurtful and de-personalizing. when one classifies people as belonging to this group or that, those people are no longer individuals, but part of a group with one mind, one way of behaving, one set of beliefs - which really is inaccurate (and more). there's no need to label people, so why do it?tune in tomorrow. georgym Posted October 19 Report Share Posted October 19 i saw the film My big fat Greek Wedding last night, and it was all about 2 separate families coming to terms with their differences. They had no choice, because the daughter of the Greek family was marrying this California dude, and they had to adapt to each other.The best part of the film was when the daughter's father was explaining the root of each child's last name, and it turned out to be just "apples and oranges".
