Some nice words from the Jersey board:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HEY CP PEEPS!

These DJ's rocked W8th with a serious dose of underground grroves this past Saturday, and now here they are coming back at you to give you serious second dose.

If you like music that is not played out, if you are intelligent and forward thinking, if you are fan of the kind of music policy that Twilo promoted, David Christopher and the HeadRush crew are the people to watch.

This past Saturday was packed with a good looking crowd. The party people were masterfully moved through a variety of musical moods by Vorg(Funky progressive house), Chris Lewis(Tribal trance and breaks), Parish(House in the Sasha & Digwed vein) and David Christopher(Hard and Uplifting Trance).

Prepare yourself for all new amazing sets of quality sounds presented by NY's most underrated group of DJ's.

Come out and support

hey georgie,

not to start any drama but is that really your name?

a) I think it's wrong to reveal the identity of any board member

B) If your name is not George Glass than dont be a hypocrite and tell us your real name.

My name is as is because I simply dont give a shit but apparently you do. Besides, what's wrong with stroking your own ego once in a while...most men do it all the time.

Hey NYC! This is a quality bunch of DJ's, with an intelligent, forward looking policy on the music they program. I went to the party last week and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

A real high percentage of good-looking, approachable people, all with down-to-earth attitudes.

as for the DJ's they were all unique and created masterful mixes. I have to admit that I did not hear one overplayed, cheesey track the whole night. (Which by the way is too frequently the case in NYC today.)

These guys (David Christopher, Chris Lewis, Parish and Vorg) obviously know a thing or two about where the music is going. Too bad we don't see more of this type of thinking in the programs of other NYC venues.

I'll definitely being on the lookout for other HeadRush events, as should you all.

David Christopher and The HeadRush Collective have worked to put together a party based on policy of quality music programming (read that as not overplayed, cheesey hard house thrown together without any intelligence applied to programming or mixing), a non-exclusive door policy and a casual unpretentious atmosphere that enables people to mingle comfortably.

They have achieved that with the party at W8TH.

I am fortunate that David chose me to be one of his DJ's. David, thank you!

CP Peeps-If you find those qualities (intelligent music format, goodlooking, unpretentious people, relaxed atmosphere, sophisticated underground vibe)in a party important, you will with out a doubt enjoy the Cyberia party this and every Saturday at W8th. I invite you all to decide for yourselves.

george,

I guess it's not that hard, even though you gave Mr. Lewis' last name and not yours.

Perhaps you think what he did was wrong BUT that does not entitle you to call him out on the board. Take it on the side.

P.S. If you're not insecure or do not toot your own horn about something at least once in a while, please let me know. I want to introduce you to my roommate as Mr. Perfect.

My name is George and I am a glass blower. IS that so hard? Stroking your ego is lame and is a sign of insecurity.

Without a doubt, I would have to say that W8TH has the nicest bouncers anywhere. They look tough, but they are incredibly friendly.

Also, the subwoofers rock! Parish dropped a track that just vibrated the entire room non-stop. No psychedelic lights or anything like that, but the vibe is so nice. It's a place where you can just dance up a storm and really interact with the DJ. Plus, you gotta love a place that lights up incense in the DJ booth. It's a great place for people who are all about the music and getting down and sweaty.

Peace,
