my little recap of crobar and spin....nov8

well this is my first time coming to miami and it was worth the wait. i wish i could of personally thanked mr. junkie for the free entry to crobar with the drinks. i get inside crobar at 1040 and hector romero is on the decks. he was just getting warmed up on the decks and of course it being so early there was not many people in, yet. i get my drink on and talk to some people. midnight rolls around and there is plenty of people in there now. hector starts to play some better dance floor material. i get my ass on the dance floor and dance for the remainder of his set. people were enjoying. satoshi tomiie takes over at aprox 105 and the dancefloor was pretty filled as well as everywhere else on the club. everybody is feeling it, even those girls that were licking each other and feeling each other on top of the platforms by the speakers. im dancing and prancing and i find 20 bucks. i want to dance more but the floor was to tight. i couldnt get my groove on anymore. even though the place was banging i had my feel for the satoshi experience. he dropped some dope shit. so i leave at 240 and head to spin. i fork over the 20 that i found and head in. oscar g is on the decks. im surprised to see that this place wasnt really jumping. i guess its the norm to see oscar g in miami and everyone else was at crobar. none the less i had my space and worked it. i liked the tracks there also since it kinda related to what i play. but since i had to be at work by 7 i had to leave so i can take a nap. i left the club at 340. my night was great. i did have some pros and cons about it though....pros: crobar is a loud club, i liked the set up and atmosphere but one con is that in order to get the best sound you have to stand right on the middle of the dance floor. pros for spin was what i think was a cryogenics system...it got really foggy and cooled off nicely and the sound was pretty much good everywhere i walked. the con was i wish more people got off their asses and danced alittle. that is it for me. all in all i had a great night. one little tid bit of info...i was passing out my cd, raymond enrique presents "broadband communication" prototye 1.0. if you got it more power to you, just email me after you listen. if you didnt get it im going to drop some off at a couple of record stores in miami beach. pick up a copy, its free and i think its one that will be a keeper. well thats that. hope to see some of you out and about tomorrow.
