copahc
I've heard that Hard Rock is the best place to stay if you want to party. There are lots of young, beautiful, crazy people there. When are you planning on goin?

Its really not that bad... I stay downtown almost everytime I go. As long as you stay on Freemont street its fine. When were you there? The really cleaned up that area in the 5 years...Anyway, Hardrock is by far the most fun place to stay...
phatman
Hard Rock and Mandalay Bay are the two hottest spots for young people right now....the Palms is on the upswing cuz of media coverage but it's in a different area of vegas...it comes down to where you want to be and how much you want to spend...ultimately, with vegas, you spend very little time in your room unless you are going for private partying (i.e. bachelorette, w/ a partner, etc)...so i dont recommend you spend your buck on the top spot unless you either got it like that or there is a need...90% of your time will be spent in casinos, shows, clubs, etc... I agree. These 2 hotels are by far the best for young people. If you don't have the $ for them and you still want to stay on the strip try Treasure Island, Excalibur, MGM. They are not the best but they are cool if you don't want to fork over the $. And besides how much time do you spend in your room when you in Vegas anywayz....................
