magilicuti
My kenwood head unit lcd stopped working recently. It used to just stop while the car was on now it just stops from the get go. When the lcd stops working I can't change the volume or tracks or do anything to my radio. I don't understand it...

djryanm
yo i used to install all that stuff but if it was going out it meant you had a bad lcd screen you should have taken it in for an exchange or something. take it back where you got it or where they put it in see if they give you a new one. bmw4jay
Kenwood = Contact them tho. Sounds like one of your wires might have corroded(known with Kenwood). Since it is an older unit you will probably have to send it out to get fixed or rip it apart, see whats wrong.
njdionysus
You just missed it, I just sold the last remaining pieces to my old show car. Top of the line Alpine head unit with cassette and 12-disc cd changer for $250.I miss my old show car, that fucker rocked... MB Quarts all around, 4-10" JL Audio subs, 1500 watts, PPI amps, AudioControl crossovers and I didnt have to pay for a penny of it. My boy owns a shop and he hooked me up with all of it as long as he could use my car in the IASCA shows, the db level was sick!!! Now I cant hear shit, what did ya say?Like Jay said, sounds like a bad wire to me. Kenwood should be able to fix it for ya.
