Hey Guys, we have jody From Way out West coming this Thursday to Big DJ little Club at lola. For all of you that know who Jody is, this is your chance to see him up close and personal . Also this will be the last show in Lola, so if you have never gotten to go for one of our nights and have been thinking about it, this is your oportunnity, becouse after this, its back to those big and High DJ both's and even bigger and higher covers and drink prices!!

JODY (WAY OUT WEST)

At 26 years old, Jody Wisternoff of Way Out West is something of a seasoned veteran. With an impressive career that spans 11 years to date, Jody has achieved commerical success and critical acclaim as a producer, remixer and DJ. In the late '80s, legendary Bristol duo Smith and Mighty opened up their studio to two very young kids who went by the name of Tru Funk Posse (comprised of Jody and his younger brother Sam). These two self-taught, pre-pubescent hip hoppers had already produced a hefty handful of tracks utilizing one of the first-ever computer based drum machines which ran on the ZX Spectrum, the classran. With an impressive career that spans 11 years to date, Jody has achieved commerical success and critical acclaim as a producer, remixer and DJ. In the late '80s, legendary Bristol duo Smith and Mighty opened up their studio to two very young kids who went by the name of Tru Funk Posse (comprised of Jody and his younger brother Sam). WAY OUT WEST

Originally intended as a remix project, the duo took a liking to the name and adopted it for the main act.

The harder, trancier "Domination" followed before "The Gift" charted at number 15 and established Way Out West as one of the foremost house acts in the U.K. "Blue," a melodic trip hop groove, was released with a menacing club mix in 1997.
