greyskyy
That pin is something that you set up yourself. Call your cable company before you get one, and see if you can have it reset or go through the options menu on you cable box to see if you can turn the pin off. That is usually so that people can not order without your permission. Parents keeping the kids in line for example.

greyskyy
You order a ppv when you have it hooked up. Then you wait a day and call to ask if your roomate ordered ppv the day before. When they tell you yes or no, you know.If it does not work, give it back. No big deal.

Drunk
AS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT STAY AWAY FROM THESE DIGITAL CABLE FILTERS. THEY DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO GET FREE PAY PER VIEW AND PREMIUM CHANNELS. THEY MERELY DELAY THE TIME THAT YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR THE PROGRAM YOU WATCHED. ALL THE INFORMATION IS STORED IN THE DIGITAL BOX. SO IF YOU EVER DISCONNECT YOUR FILTER OR RETURN YOUR DIGITAL BOX TO THE CABLE COMPANY YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR THESE PROGRAMS. HOW DO I KNOW THIS? A FRIEND OF MINE IS FACING A LAWSUIT FROM CABLEVISION FOR USING A DIGITAL FILTER. HE RETURNED HIS BOX BECAUSE HE MOVED AND THEY SOUGHT PAYMENT FOR THE PROGRAMS HE STOLE. USE THESE DEVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!
Guest saleen351
Don't bother with cable.Direct tv is the way to go. Few ways of doing it.Have the cards programmed by a friend, just ask around, there is a guy in every neighborhooddo it yourself. either by getting a subscription to a site where you download and patch it your self, you'll need the hard ware but its like 50 bucks..or you use a emulator card that you hook to your box with an old computer, even a 386 will worknothing compares.. ps just so yous know NJ leads the country where people switch from cable to Direct TV..
