  1. The CIA does know who he is. CIA officials have requested his identity not be revealed because, in their words, he may be made a target of al-Qaida.
  2. You know I used to have some respect for you until you made this comment. A totally moronic comment. Go out to some hip hop clubs and come back and tell me "love is the message" when someone pulls out their glock and starts shooting. It's not a racial thing, it's a stupidity thing. People who are fuckups are the ones that cause problems, regardless of race. Get a fuckin clue.
  3. You dumb bitch , as usual, your posts have nothing to do with anything. Someone posts about a drug-related death and you post about Judith Nathan. There are medications that exist that can help you, although I think you're beyond help. So do yourself a favor, take a razor blade and cut vertically along a vein in your wrist, not horizontally.
  4. I´ve tried this and honestly think it´s utter shit. I´m not picky when it comes to alcohol, but I can never see this drink going anywhere. Nothing special about the taste (in fact I found the taste to be a turnoff) and a horrible aftertaste. I´ll stick with a Vodka Redbull. Thanks. P.S. The shameless bumping up of this thread is a pretty pathetic attempt at free self-promotion on a site where advertisers normally PAY (interesting concept) to advertise. DaVe should stick this in promotions forum.
  5. I went to a top tier grad school and I make well over six figures pookie, and have for several years. But this isn't a pissing contest. I don't give a fuck if you went to Oxford, then got your master's at Harvard, then got your MBA at Wharton, then got your medical degree at the Mayo Clinic. You still sound like a fuckin dope. But I did notice that your spelling and grammar improved slightly in your last post. Keep that up.
  6. Most are also dyslexic/illiterate, as your two posts demonstrate and posters on JP's board demonstrate on a daily basis. English next time.
  7. It's a sad but true story.
  8. Oh and Erkinie2, how fuckin old are you? You sound like you're 17 and just started clubbing this year. It's ok to be an amateur, we all were at one time. Just don't sound like an idiot in the process, which you seem to do on a repeated basis. JP #1 DJ!!! Thanks.
  9. How is looping a track for 45 minutes in any way, shape or form creative? Watch Carl Cox spin with 5 decks, now THAT is creative. His mixing skills are absolute garbage. And most of the crowd is either too dumb or too fucked up to realize that or what else is going on for that matter. Classic example, when JP played in the Hamptons last year, he showed up late. The club put on one of his Sound Factory CDs until he arrived. Most of the idiots in the crowd didn't even have a clue it was a full CD playing for 2 hours and were shouting Johhnnnnnnnyyyyy as if he were in the booth. LOL It WAS good about 4-5 years ago. Not too many Guidos? You've GOT to be kidding me. And the crowd the last few years was horrible. It was kids that were to get fucked up. Very few gave a damn about the music. Very few could care less if JP played Going Through It or Silence over Lethal Industry all the fuckin time for the billionth time He's not totally responsible, but being a meth-head, he sets the tone of the party and sets the example for everyone else. It's no secret JP gets seriously fucked up, even while on the decks. I'm sure he's chilled out some since the crackdown at Factory, but he's had a history of getting wacked. And more importantly, it doesn't matter if he's not responsible for the crowd, because these degenerates will follow him everywhere, putting heat on any club he has a residency at. Have a few overdoses or a few people busted at Spirit for selling, and the NYPD will be all over that place till it's padlocked.
  10. That place is tiny. I don't see how they will hold a Howells crowd, even if it's on a Sunday. The vibe there has been dying out for a while now. Seems like that place is going downhill.
  11. You forgot to factor in booze, some food before you go to Spirit, parking, a few $5 bottles of water, and last but not least, a few happy pills and/or jars.
  12. Actual title is Danny Tenaglia presents Kult of Krameria - Esperança Made by two portuguese tribal producers and reworked by DT. Esperança means hope in portuguese.
  13. You're an absolute moron. Nothing to back it up? I've partied for 13 years and seen practically every DJ worth seeing under the sun in America, Canada, Ibiza, all over mainland Europe and South America. I don't have to BE a DJ to know when one sucks, dipshit. Use your common sense. There are many local DJs who know "how it should be done" and Waxman ain't one of them: Roger Sanchez Danny Tenaglia Hector Romero Satoshi Francois K Danny Krivit Astro & Glyde That Kid Chris LES Oh wait, because I'm not a DJ, I'm not qualified to say these DJs above are good, right? Waxman couldn't hang with these guys. He's in the Bush Leagues. His style is boring and his mixing is suspect.
  14. This is always a STUPID comment. You don't have to be a DJ to know when a DJ *sucks*. Just like I don't have to be an actor to appreciate that The Day After Tomorrow is an abomination. The overwhelming concensus is, David Waman blows, and he blows in what's supposed to be one of the flagships of NYC clubs. If one of the "best" clubs in New York has Waxman headlining as a regular resident, then the scene is doomed.
  15. You dumb bitch, you're still hittin that crack pipe aren't you!?
  16. You dumb bitch, you're still hittin that crack pipe aren't you?
  17. Hey there's nothing wrong with being a JP fan. Other shitty DJs like Louie Devito and Tony Draper have fans, why can't JP?
  18. I guess I should feel bad for you too. I mean you add up your posts on this screen name and your previous screen names, plus all your posts on that poor excuse for a web site you have, and you're pushing what? 16,000 posts?
  19. If you read JP's messageboard you would have thought it was the best night ever.
  20. This board has sucked for a long long time.
  21. Bravo. These people that have this "I know something you don't know. I'm cool" attitude are so fucking annoying. Either give info, or shut the fuck up. No one fucking cares that you have a secret.
  22. You're about as idiotic as they come on ClubPlanet. You write like a fucking lobotomy patient.
  23. Joey Harrison's Surf Club purchase explored by Dover Published in the Asbury Park Press 5/05/04 By JEAN MIKLE TOMS RIVER BUREAU DOVER TOWNSHIP -- Representatives of Joey Harrison's Surf Club have asked Mayor Paul C. Brush and the Township Council whether Dover is interested in acquiring the landmark building and its beach, the mayor said yesterday. Brush said a real estate agent representing the Surf Club approached the township recently to see if it might be interested in acquiring the bar and nightclub at 1900 Ocean Ave., at the end of Seventh Avenue in Ortley Beach. Brush said he is interested in Dover buying the property, although he would not disclose the asking price. Joseph Barcellona Sr., who owns the club, could not be reached for comment yesterday. A packet distributed last month to the council said the club is worth about $10 million, including the bar and nightclub, the beachfront and an adjacent parking lot. Brush said the price quoted to the township is significantly less than that figure. "I am in favor of continuing negotiations as long as possible to acquire the Surf Club because I like the idea of turning it into a family concession, much like Island Beach State Park," the mayor said. A beachfront bar and nightclub have existed at the site for at least 60 years. The club annually draws thousands of patrons who come to hear nationally touring acts presented on Friday nights by Sayreville-based promoter Concerts East Inc. as part of its Planet Surf series. The Surfstock concert, held on the first Friday in July, has showcased up-and-coming acts and annually draws more than 1,000 people to the club. On Sunday "jam" nights, the club traditionally draws a crowd of local revelers. Such acts as the Smithereens, surfing guitarist Dick Dale, the Psychedelic Furs, the Saw Doctors and the Legendary Wailers have performed at the Surf Club in recent years. Both the Saw Doctors and the Wailers are to return this summer. Brush admitted that purchasing the club could be a long shot, considering the township's financial situation and the large number of other properties that officials wish to acquire. On that list is the JAMM Realty Inc. site, about 65 acres at Hooper Avenue and College Drive where 320 apartments were approved by the Planning Board in 2000, and about 43 acres at Fischer Boulevard and Water's Edge Drive where The Home Depot planned to build a home improvement store and garden center. Those properties are expected to cost several million dollars each. Council members, who saw a presentation on the Surf Club last month, have privately expressed skepticism about acquiring the site, given the other land the township wants to preserve. Brush said a meeting has been scheduled soon that will include him; Jesse Goldstein, the real estate agent handling the potential Surf Club sale; 1st Ward Councilwoman Maria Maruca, whose ward includes the club, and Assistant Township Attorney Alison L. Newman. "I think it would be a nice upgrade to our recreation program and beach program," Brush said of acquiring the club. "Talks are continuing." The Surf Club opened for the season on April 30, when the reunited band Dramarama performed. Jean Mikle: (732) 557-5729 or jmikle@app.com
