CHRles
This is a fantastic set.I'm more into House and Trance, but I really liked this mix. Starts off with the Tribal/percussive and Techno oriented track by Soul of Man titled "The Drum", then goes into a Breakbeat Remix of the electro-House anthem "La La Land" by Green Velvet. That's followed by legendary Electronica producers The Prodigy with "Baby's Got a Tamper", over to Germany's Moguai under his Punk alias and the slammin track "The Rock", and the set keeps evolving and flowing smoothly. I noticed the way you play bits and pieces of the next record to be played way ahead of time during the middle of songs. Overall, a great set that covers a wide spectrum of Breakbeat styles without falling into the trap of dropping too many cheesy female vocals, or the alarming amount of bootlegs many FL DJs spin. From Nu Skool, to Progressive, to Funky, Big Beat, Tech, Acidic, percussive, vocal, and more, this is the quintessential intelligent Breakbeat set. CHRles
Hey, which version of "La La Land" do you have there? Brickhouse, what can you can try to do is just copy the link to the set and paste into real audio and just let it play without saving it. CHRles
Thanks for the answer, and yes I was talking about the April mix. I just figured that was the latest mix. See before I listen to any mix I usually like to check out a DJ's website, so I assumed the April Mix was the new mix. Regardless, nice stuff.
