njstacked2 Posted April 25 Author Report Share Posted April 25 Great Question David...We must remember a few things...Yes the War boosted the markets some what...for the last few weeks...but from a more macro perspective...we are having trouble with the largest economies in the world...JAPAN, EUROPE & US...Out of all three we are in the best shape...coupled with the threat of SARS, Korean WMD coverup and the ultra low interest rates/failure to spark econ. With regards to your "small dent" comment..you are right...we are capitalized at $18 billion ....It is a small piece in the puzzle....We liquidated his entire postion...Anyway, it was due to the SARs crisis in Canada...you guessed it we were Long the Canadian Dollar VS.
