I have not logged on in MANY YRS....and popped on just to relive it a bit. Good times. In regards to this place.....I have not gone....but have yet to hear ONE good review. EVERYONE tells me that the place SUCKS!! Period!! EVERYONE!!! I know the truth hurts...but hey....if you recognize it early enough you might be able to tap out without losing too much money. I'm sure its a losing venture already though. Valiant effort but it is what it is. You take yrs to open and this is the best you got? dont tell me you need more time to improve it?!?! cause THERE IS NO IMPROVING IT!!! Mind you, these are friends who actually prefer the "less trendy" club scene!!! LOL NOTHING warrants the prices you ask for drinks, cover, etc...nothing....not the music, nor cheap decor, nor ANYTHING!! You cant just open up a place and expect to charge out the ARSE for mediocre!! COME ONNNN!!!!!! Shut it down and make it a DINER!! DONE!! I'll swing by after Deko. PS: I am not associated with any club...but do have my preferences. NEXT!!!!

Mixx is tougher to get into, if you are gambling big ask the pit boss to hook you up with free passes or a table even. Both have average music and the people leave a bit to be desired of (at the risk of sounding conceited, but I dont give a fock), but casbah has proved to be more fun in my case. Expect a lot of beer muscles and a lot of "wannabee" gangsters. Lots of Philly peeps. Hope that helps. Have fun!! :-)

I think Morillo is a great DJ, dont get me wrong, but man it sounds like a risky business venture.

Usually I wouldn't give a flying f*ck but I was not the only one "annoyed" by this. If I'm wrong....I ALLOW u to correct me if I'm wrong.....but is this really the right way to treat your clientele? just to try and make as many bucks as possible on the last day??? 1) How is it that you did not HONOR either 2004 or 2005 VIP's?? Again...I couldnt give a flying F about the $12 cover...keep it and use it to replace some urinals but BE F'EN CONSISTENT. 2) Was Denny there earlier and then left? he sure wasnt there when I got there around 8/9, yet the flyer mentioned that he was going to be there. True, it said 7pm, but even if he was there I question how he could have made it to Alchemy (New Haven, CT) in time to play there too. (see the official schedule from his website below). Was he and if so, for how long? It pisses me off because I have had a lot of fun there this year and I popped in a lot of times this summer. Leaves a bad taste to see greed become more important than your clientele on day that you should RECOGNIZE them instead. Great to see so many faces that I had not seen in a while....Long ass list...sorry that I could not find/see so many others that were there. I got there late (2am approx) and made sure that I was in attendance for the ending at the VERY LEAST!! AWESOME!! Just the way it used to be. Soaked in water, energy at 10000%, the entire place chanting "one more song", "denny". Nothing will ever be the same......but for one night......2 hrs for me..............it felt like it was again!! Glad I made it!! For those that experienced it so many times......... TEMPTATIONS does become part of life.
