It is better to have lived it and be sad that its over....than to have never been part of it. I am happy that I was part of it for a LONG time, but even good things come to an end. I have mostly good memories....but even the bad ones are worth having been had because it taught me something (Temptations is a part of life). I can TOTALLY vouch for it being a good time, women being drunk and horny and an impressive amount of hotties. HATE THE F'EN CLASSICS so not sure if I'll be there this weekend, but the music has also improved from the last 2 years. F'EN LET THE CLASSICS DIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Again, a WHOLE day devoted to classics but noone will devote a day just to new music.

I agree with some of the opinions on this thread....as u get older u have more to lose, more responsibilities, etc. Also, its almost like people are wondering looking for that "energy" and "vibe" from years past and can't find it. At least from what I saw, and I have not been to Seaside in a while until this past weekend. I think a lot of us here experienced partying at 1000% and now 100% just wont do. Maybe people realize that it will never be the same (not to say that it cant be fun to just hang out with your friends and have a good time no matter where u go) and are giving up? or maybe people are looking at other things that will provide entertainment and just as good a time, but in a different environment? I dont know if the decrease in drugs has anything to do with it too....or if indeed that is the case even. Just speaking out loud....but I think what I said before is more applicable. I have come to the conclusion that it wont be the same, so I have embraced just hanging out with friends, drinking, b-b-quing, enjoy the beach and the weather. Dont get me wrong, you will see me at Spirit for JP this fall and winter, and at a bunch of different spots, but it will be for different reasons and with different expectations. I will ALWAYS have a good time no matter where I go, I enjoy clubs, music, seeing good people out and sharing a drink with them, etc...which is why I go out...not sure if that is the case for all though. The way I see it....if someone could figure out what it is that would get people "interested" again...they would make a ton of cash. But what is it? that's the million $ question. It was great to c u and Sue!!! Sorry about what happened!! Funny how when a drug problem was REALLY a drug problem, noone ever did anything like that. Drug problem in Seaside? Holy crap, there was 1000 times more drugs in 99/00/01/02 and my friends BARELY got frisked then. We will make up for it with a Spirit run. So I have spoken, so it shall be done I was a bit disappointed that I caught Richie on a classics night..which is not one of my personal favorites "theme" parties....but he is still the man!! lol

Is Richie playing all night? or is it going to mixed music again? House, crap Hop, etc?

Thanks for the reply Reeni. I dont ask to get invited.....or hunt people down to be one of the chosen ones (although most people on your list are great peeps, no offence to anyone regardless). I dont consider myself "Elite" nor do I think that I'm above anyone else, etc. I'm sure this was just a way to try and narrow down people but hey, this stuff is not me. I see a lot of this going on more and more....gotta know this...kiss ass that....not me at all. Thanks again for the info though....Im sure it will be an awesome trip. I will make a return to Seaside for this. Will this B-day bash include a Sat - XS party and a Sunday SURF/TEMPS reunion???? I cant come out and play at DIVA during the week....real job and all!!

Are they coming for the clubs or just to hang out on the streets? Awaiting on easy victims as they walk out of the clubs??? Very happy with my house in Point. Clean and the cops keep the riff raff out. My friend screamed loud while walking back drunk and 4 cop cars where there in 2 mins...yet our neighbours dont hassle us when we are drunk and loud in the house. Ture, there is no nightlife, JENKS or TIKI are NOT NIGHTLIFE, but at least you can take a cab anywhere u go. F the ghetto.

Badass...thought you were done with sleezeside LONG time ago to begin with. Where have u been that you only realized that TEMPS is not the same.....and will never be the same??? I am staying away for other reasons but STILL MISS the energy from how it used to be and the music. I also miss a lot of peeps on this board who I have not seen in a while and always make going out a good time!! I will return for a couple sessions this summer yet. Hopefully I'll also be able to attend the next JP session!!
