SPACE...i give up..

from 445am until 545am I stood herded in a tightly packed group of sweaty people all waiting to go inside Space...this was especially frustrating because not a single person was being let in from the line that I was standing in...and, as the crowd grew more and more restless and agitated, the bouncers were kind enough to come over and yell at everyone...was also nice to see Miami's finest personally escort thier friends to the front while everyone else suffered in the line...now thats what I call community service...i cannot justify going to Space anymore, regardless of who is playing there..

I have to agree with sgt.fury the line was totally out of control on saturday. when you add a bunch of over zealous bouncers, and police to mix ,it gets very ugly. for what it’s worth, I will express my opinions to space management. for me the most important thing is the music. having to deal with rude people, regrettably comes with the territory.

Damn that sucks. You know, I haven't been back in the country for very long so I've been visiting the clubs that have popped up in the five years I was gone. The only place I have no desire to go to is Space. I have yet to go and, frankly, it's because all the stories have kept me away. There's nothing I HATE more than rudeness and it really brings out a nasty side of me that I don't like. I really want to go to Digweed on the 29th but I'm weary of the venue, if you know what I mean.

bb> space is bringing the talent we want to hear. so we have to take some of the good ,with the bad. I appreciate Digweed to much as an artist; to let some idiot employees of club, ruin my night. although saturday’s events pissed me off; I refused to let it ruin my night. I was happy to be dancing my a*s off, and chilling with my buddy. peace, sobeton

Because of all of the negative stuff flying around about the door staff at Space, we've decided to post an open letter to the Space Management on our website, asking for their feedback on the situation. We'll also send an e-mail and hard copy of the letter to the Space office.

We'd like to add as many comments as possible from Space / Miami regulars, so please forward any comments you have to:

info@cooljunkie.com

and we'll include them. The letter and any response from Space will be posted on the site, and hopefully it might lead to some kind of resolution.

thanks,

the .junkies.
