pangelid
it sounds very bad. I want it to sound bright and vibrant similar to a cd, but can't seem to get it right. I have run the file thru sound forge's declicker and vinyl restoration filters, then tried tweaking things left and right, but it still sounds dull and old and like a tape. Can someone help me with this. I have about intermediate experience working with file/sound editing [have sound forge and acid pro], so any help in this area would be appreciated. kevtherev1
Record the tape through the line input of your sound card.-Clean heads of source tape deck before playback.-Choose 16 bit recording resolution.-44.1 kHz sampling rate.-Recording level with maximum peak at -3 dB. The worst thing you can have while digitizing is overload. -Process with Paragraphic Equalizer with frequency response set to 20 Hz-20 kHz.-Try Ultramaximizer and StereoImager+ experimenting with different values.-type "format c:"(just kidding)hope this helps
