weyes Posted July 7 Report Share Posted July 7 today marks the third anniversary of my true emancipation on the dancefloor - the night when i first went all out, unquestionably followed something inside me, and finally felt like i belonged out there. i was no longer afraid of what others would think of me; i didn't think at all, myself.i stepped out on an almost empty floor to some music that was entirely unfamiliar to me (thank you, space girl!!!), and suddenly i was unfamiliar to myself.since then, i'm no longer in the dance, but of it. and i can't imagine it any other way .
