In case you can't read (Saleen), the name of the CD is "AMERICAN ANTHEMS", not "THE NEWEST TRACKS THAT ARE UNRELEASED AND UNDERGROUND AND YOU CAN'T ILLEGALLY DOWNLOAD THEM CAUSE YOU DON"T GOT JUICE SO YOU GOTTA BUY THIS CD" . SO, obviously the tracklisting is meant to be the biggest tracks across the country. Not everyone goes out clubbing every night and downloads tracks every day, so they appreciate hearing these songs for the first time on a CD, especially since most of them have not been on a US released compilation yet.

Why don't you go tell JP to stop playing "Change the world"?

Don't hate, congratulate.

I won't be offended if you don't show up, it's just more space for my friends who like to dance.

PEACE!

Track listing is exactly what it should be for an anthem CD, good job :D def would like to hear what you did with it :aright:

Waxman is back? About time Dave. I finally have a reason to go back to CroBar.

If there is one person that I always look forward in hearing here in Miami it's Waxman. Reminds me a little of me. Never sticks to one genre but instead supplies the best of all electronic sub genres being House, being Progressive, Being Tribal, Being Trance. Why have one when you can have them all. Right Dave?

If there is someone's CD that I have always wanted in my collection it's yours. Done much searching but with little results. I guess I finally found my opportunity.

Again, it's about time you come back. CroBar has been slow dancing.

Check out my site Dave www.soturecords.com

Your comments will definitely be welcomed.

Peace

yes, ask anyone i do buy tons of cds... but if the tracks are that bad, i download them for the underage girls my little brother knows so they can pump them at their 8th grade prom...

I say Louie Devitos cd kills yours.... Wanna bet??????

Anthems my ass!

cd blows..........

its amazing how out of touch djs are with the club fans.

Morillo has a banging cd, yours is cheeseeeeeeeeeee!

put some effort into it next time.. Scribbles is just a confused dj.... and crobar is a great lounge......

Be a man and post your cd is better than Morillos????

Of course those are anthems, and it may not sell as much as a Louie Devito CD, but I think this CD is better than what Devito has been putting out lately (Diva Anthems comes to mind). This CD is not just meant for House heads, but for fans of Dance music in general, and for ppl who listen to more than just Dance music.

You don't think Waxman can put out a CD in the same style as Morillo? Of course he can. You'd know that if you've ever seen Waxman spin. American Anthems isn't really targetted at the same market as Morillo's CD, but both are good.

Not anthems? LOL let's see:

Room 5 "Make Luv" went to number one on the POP charts all over Europe.

Benni Bennassi "Satisfaction" - again a major anthem in the clubs and doing well sales-wise

Lee Carbera "Shake It" - One of the biggest ANTHEMS this year at MIAMI's WMC.

Speaking of Miami, you've got a Robbie Rivera Remix on this 2-Cd, and a track by Cedric Gervais.

There's also a couple of tracks there by Roger Sanchez, and if that's not good House music I don't know what is.

Another HUGE anthem on that CD is Tomcraft's "Loneliness" - big in the trance clubs, big in the House clubs, big in the clubs period, and again also went to number 1 on the UK Pop charts.

As much as you love to rag on Europe, American House and Techno DJs/producers seem to get more respect over there. Nobody knew about Detroit Techno or Chicago House in most of the US until there was a buzz about it in the UK. Miami House talent like Rivera and Murk have been known to most of the European Dance comunity a lot longer now than most of America's Dance scene, outside of New York.

Euro class DJs definitely know whats up.

Anyways, this CD is a nice mixture of commercial and club music. One of your favorite DJs, Skribble, tends to be at his best when he's balancing the two, and that's probably one of the reasons why he was chosen to mix on this compilation.

LOL, sooooo true

but so many ppl still go crazy to the song in clubs...its a song that ppl recognize and can sing along and dance too, especially in a place like crobar...therefore a track that would draw the masses to buy an anthem CD....
