digital cameras for pix in clubs

Recommended Posts

Depends what you are willing to / can spend....

I recommend the Canon PowerShot S400 Digital Elph as the best small point and shoot digital.

but its also $415 so its a tad pricey.

You can get the Canon Powershot S200 Digital Camera which is the same size, but with a lower pixil rate, and what have you.

Its still a great camera and its much more affordable. Ive seen it as low as $226

do ur self the best favor

and go for the 4+ mpixel cams

mainly because of the FLASH quality

and resolutiion you will get in the end-

always get the extra memory card-

you really just need ONE as long as you take care if it properly-

im now using the KODAK LS443 and its GReAT

alittle fat in size but still good for the pocket

it takes awsome picks

like this

and

and again with

1_0196_JPG.jpg

all in all

its great when you really are good with timing

again its the 4+ mega pixle

dont bother with less if your going to use the stuff on the web at all

I have the Casio Exilim EX-Z3 3.2MP Digital Camera w/ 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom...it is very very tiny (size of credit card - one of the world's smallest and only .9 of an inch thick) with an awesome zoom and high pixelization and it works well in low light situations. It also is capable of recording mini-movies so you can catch some of the dancing in real time. With a 128mb memory stick this camera will run you around $600. It also turns alot of heads.

Hi all....

looking to purchase a digital camera, but one with a good strong flash and pocket-sized for taking snapshots inside (dark and smoky) clubs. 3+ megapixels only, of course :)

any suggestions?

um, do you mean pixelation in the dictionary sense of the word (e.g. as you zoom in you see more and more big squares that make up the image) or do you mean "it has a lot of little tiny pixels so that you don't notice them at all?

liqidtouch, you have any pics that are larger resolution then those sizes, i'm wondering how the quality is on a 4 megapixel cam.

The camerea is great because it is so small and weighs nothing so its great for taking out.

well when you set it to take shots at the highest rez.

the camera actaully takes them at

2248 x 1642

thats about the total viewing size of a 21" flat screen monitor-

but when i put my pics in my site

i size them downso they dont take some much server space

and the pages can load quick

but the RESOLUTION its still at 300dpi

its only the physical size you see that is smaller

like

500x600 at 300dpi

instead of

2248 x 1642 at 300dpi

again that Kodak is pricey but its WELL worth it

i was even able to take some GREAT shots of breakdancing

(girl included)

and had NO probs with timing

The resolution in both cases would be 72dpi. On paper at 300dpi that would take up approx 7.5 by 5.5 inches.

ok lets see if i can answer both in the same post HAHAA

do all clubs let me bring in cameras?

Yes as far as i can see - ALL clubs i have been to have no prob with me usinga DIGI cam

the only concern they have now (cause of recent problems in nitelife- is that you are not using a video cam for recording video session

usual a bouner will approach if hes never seen you and ask to look atthe cam- DO NOT HAND IT TO THEM!!!-

they do not have the authority to take it-

only police do

and noe for APHELION

you can use the 3 MGpxl cams if your not doing any web work with them-

but make sure you have a good vs of photoshop or something so you can adjust the BRIGHT and CONTRAST ing stuff

does that answer everything?

WOW hope so
