I would just turn off the lights for awhile.. let people play with their lights, and once they eye get adjusted to the dark.. bust out with some bright colors.... if u were at space last sat/sun at around 8am, u probly noticed the blinders then blackout for a while.thats what they are for. to blind people as u go into a black out. so they can't really shit till their eyes get used to the dark, then u hit thme up with some effects to blow them out.
