dgmodel Posted August 11 Report Share Posted August 11 i am reading the NYT this evening, and every sunday upon completion i peruse the personals... i never understood this... if theres a section for women seeking men, and a section for men seeking women, why dont these ppl ever just respond to the others personal??? why bother putting one up of your own??? but more importantly each one of these "advertisements" suck... ones claiming to be clever are never cleverly written, ppl claiming to be funny do not express any type of humor, and ones stating theyre educated have grammatical errors... now im not saying all but these are the ones that come to mind... and stand out when reading these things... however the reason for the thread is if you were to "advertise" yourself on a personal ad, how would it go???
