My Las Vegas Review

Recommended Posts

This was my 3rd time going to Vegas and by far the sickest trip yet !! I stayed at The Palms this trip and in my opinion ... this is the hotel to stay at. Its the hotel that caters to the 23- 35 year old crowd. All good looking people ... all the time (no matter what time of the day it was).

My plane landed Thursday night at 10:30 and one we checked in to our suite (which was a huge 3 bedroom suite, 3 bathrooms, jacuzzi, and the perfect view of las vegas) we got changed and headed out to Ghostbar. Ghostbar was a good time. It was packed with lotz of bitches and were playing hip hop (not a big fan of hip hop but when there are tons of chicks going nuts to it ... i'll deal with it).

The pool at the hotel was banging from 7 am to 5 pm everyday. We had a 2 tier cabana poolside every day and the dj slam's everything from rock to house and everything in between. My only problem with the pool was that it was not that big compared to the amount of people that the hotel can accomidate. But whatever.

Friday night we went to dinner at N9NE Steakhouse in the Palms. By farone the best steakhouses i have eaten at in vegas. It was kinda expensive but delicious food. The place is a very trendy atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out (but you have to make reservations at least 2 weeks in advancce to get a good time). The place had alot of older middle aged guys with tons of cash rolling around with escorts/ hookers. Definitely alot of eye candy in there.

Friday night we went to Light in the Bellagio. I was just not feeling it. It was a mix of hip hop and house and the place was packed but ... i dunno ... there was just something about the place that i was not feeling. So i went back to my hotel and hit the tables. Lost about a grand at the blackjack table but met a few bitches ... so i didn't care about the loot.

Once my boys got back we jumped in a hummer h2 stretch limo and hit DRAIS. This is the soundfactory spot of Las Vegas. All house music all the time ... but good new, cutting edge house music. All i have to say is get there early (when the doors open @ 4am). It fills quickly an then it is nearly impossible to get it.

Saturday we hit the pool again for another good time. Saw some friends fro back home that moved out to Vegas last month. THEN ..........

Saturday night we went to the nightclubs of all nightclubs ---- RAIN !!

This place is sooo insane. The setup is very cool and we had to waterbooth VIP sections. The place was packed by 11pm so for future reference .. if you wanna o there ... get there early b/c the line starts forming at like 9pm and if you don't have VIP sections on reserve you have to wait on line.

The music was a mix of house and hip hop and the crowd was filled with energy. The place has pyrotechnics (spelling?) that spits fireballs during buildups and high energy songs. They use the fire balls like merge uses that liquid blast stuff when richie is tearing it up. After we closed that place out we hit dreis again and then slept and packed our shit up to go to the airport.

I hit for a quick $500 before our limo picked us up at the hotel and then headed to the airport.

OVERALL ... the was one of the top 3 trips i have ever been on! If you are interested in going to vegas .. i highly suggest it. If you do ... take my word on this ... stay at the palms !!!!!!!!!

Solid review bro. Im in the works for planning another vegas trip there as well. I agree with your post, Rain and Drai's are the shit. As far as the Palms goes, i've never actually stayed there but it's a great hotel. If your looking for other happenin hotels check out the Mandalay Bay and the Hard Rock. Only thing that sux is that the hard rock is off the strip.

I dont want to get started on any of my other vegas experiences cuz i will never shut up. But put it this way, if i wasnt with my gf and i was single, id be on a plane moving out to Vegas tommorrow!

I DON'T HAVE A G/F AT THIS TIME AND IF I HAD SOMEBODY TO MOVE OUT THERE WITH ... I'D PACK MY BAGS AND BE GONE TOMORROW
