crystalmethod Posted September 3 Report Share Posted September 3 Hey Boston peeps,NYis4meatheads - 1) Change your SN, NJ is 4 meat heads... duh 2) If you're coming from Yankee Stadium, which of course we all know is the Mount Olympus of baseball then you'll want to ride the subway with these directions:Get on the 4 train, its on the green line, downtown/manhattan direction - It should be express at that time, so it should be about the 6th stop, which would be 42nd street - Grand Central. Figure about 10-15 minutes on that.At Grand Central find the 7 train as Andy mentioned, purple line, going to the west side//times square direction.The last stop is Times Square, get out there... which gives you two options.1) Hike it to 35th between 10th and 11th (you'll be at 42nd/broadway) 2) Taxi it (this is what I recommend - tell the driver 35th between 10th and 11th and you're set. Addy is 529 West 35th, you'll see the studio and flags. Figure about $5 + tip if you're nice.Afterparty Info:We're just about finished confirming, but I wont let too much info out:Boston's own, Steve Porter plans on jamming with us for the after party... I told him Im buying him a Yankee hat since he's playing for us (lol) - and Ali Geramian from the Low End Specialists comes off the bench to pinch hit with Porter.Mr. Burridge will be more then likely, playing a small set as well (just waiting to hear from him before I confirm that).The venue... also a new venue, not open yet, but granting us rights to use the lower level for the afterparty - how cool is that? I wont announce where yet... it will be open to the public, the afterparty, but... there will be a cover charge of like 15/20 - people who come from the main event will be free or $5 at most just to cover our costs.
