Some may know him as the Piece Maker, others recognize him as one of the Diaz Brothers, while many call him Tony Toca and will attest to his superior skills on the 1 and 2's, his ability to rock the mic with the best and his knack for releasing some of the flyest mixtapes in the genre of hip hop. Whatever the case may be, if you know hip hop, you know him and remember the first time you heard his 50 mcs parts 1, 2 and 3. Or the street loving "5 Deadly Venoms of Brooklyn" that shook the richter scale with Tony at the helm, and DJ PREMIER, MISTA CEE, EVIL DEE AND PF CUTTIN in the mix. Then there was the one two punch combo of DOO WOP and Toca together with "the Diaz Brothers" and when the smoke cleared, Touch garnered best Freestyles (4 years in a row) at the Justo's Annual Mixtape Awards as well as praise from all us hip hop heads that knew who the real mixtape king was. When Tony stepped out of the dark shadows of the underground and into the light with his first major label release in 2000 on Tommy Boy Records entitled the "Piece Maker" heads rolled and peeps who did not know who Tony Touch was, now knew. The "Piece Maker "was 21 tracks deep and featured new joints from renowned artists like BIG PUN, THE WU TANG CLAN, BUSTA RHYMES,THE LIKS,CYPRESS HILL,GANG STARR, EMINEM, DE LA SOUL, and more, selling over 400,000 units worldwide!
