weyes Posted November 13 Report Share Posted November 13 when driving in the rain - especially in los angeles - one should drive slower than one normally does. drivers don't see as well in the rain, and it's easy to miscalculate distances between cars, width of lanes, and locations of puddles. one should also watch out for pedestrians! oil has a long time to drip on the streets between rainstorms in l.a., so, when water hits, big, slippery oil slicks abound. lastly, traffic gets clogged like crazy in the rain in l.a., so joyrides aren't recommended (no joy there, peeps).tune in tomorrow.
