Hello all--

Since New Year's Eve 2003 is right around the corner, people have been asking me what there is to do in my hometown. Well, I asked around and this list is what I received in reply--just in case anyone may need it.

Get ready; it's a long one:

1. OHIO CITY (http://www.ohiocity.com)

*Moda (1871 West 25 St; 216-781-3805) in Ohio City celebrates with residents G SPOT & SAMMY O, plus the long-awaited return of KRAMER from San Francisco. The evening includes complimentary champagne, sushi and hors d'oeurves. VIP reservations are recommended. Doors open at 8:00PM for 21 and over in proper attire please. Find out more at www.modanightclub.com

*It's "A Perfect Ten" at Union Station/Bounce (2814 Detroit Ave; 216-357-2997)--and that means ten hours of NYE drama. The fun starts with dinner at 5PM in Union Station Video Cafe, then moves to Bounce with hostesses Virginia West and Kari Nickels and music from circuit DJ RICK CORDER till 3AM. As this tend to sell out early, please visit www.clevelandcocktails.com and www.columbusnightlife.com to book a seat in advance and choose from four dinner selections.

2. HISTORIC WAREHOUSE DISTRICT (http://www.warehousedistrict.org)

*The Mercury Lounge (1392 West 6 St; 216-566-8840) features the sounds of municipal uptempo lounge crown prince HRH MIKE FILLY and special guests JUGOE and MISTERBRADLEYP. Tickets are only $15. Meanwhile, over at Tramp (1360 West 9 St; 216-776-7777), it's a "Naughty New Year's 2003" for only $40 at the City's newest dance club.
