modouglas
a train ride to florence will be about 2 1/2 hrs and cost like 45-50 euros. A train ride to rome to venice will be about 5 hrs and cost about 75 euros.
juliet21
thank you is it better to get the ticket when i get to italyor should i buy it in advance
panina
when you get there will be fine, just go to the station and buy all the tickets at once, be sure to reserve seats on the eurostar(fast trains) or take the cheaper local trains which make more stops. The eurostar is really fast and about 30 or 40 us dollars, but you must buy the ticks at least a day earlier.

kutekimee
italy is beautiful! i can't help with the train inquiry, but i have to suggest going to Capri and swimming in the Blue Grotto if you can! it might be too cold, but they have boats. i remember the trains being really easy to use, so don't worry.
