January 23, 2004 -- JUNIOR Vasquez's triumphant homecoming at the Sound Factory was short-lived. The deejay, one of the best known in the world, has been dumped after a mere eight weeks back in his old booth. "It was not completely his fault - they should have given him some time" to build a new audience, said our source. Vasquez played the after-hours shift and hard-core fans who followed him in the early '90s are just not up (read: too old) for staying out all night. "There's no question he screwed up by making his parties later and later until no one wanted to go out anymore," we're told.
