PCR Posted February 22 Report Share Posted February 22 D:Fuse was really good....nice fast paced prog.the dj before D:Fuse was barely ok....saw him drink Gray Goose right from the bottle....not that I care but I wish he was doing more mixing rather than just playing entire tracks..Stayed past 5 when the place pretty much was getting ready to close. I think the best part was somewhere from 2 to 4.Another “highlight†for me was getting his autograph and a t-shirt.That was thanks to two very nice Austin girls, friends of D:Fuse Doubt they are reading it, but; Thank you again – had a really great time!! borlab Posted February 23 Report Share Posted February 23 D:Fuse definitely laid down a solid set at Avalon last Saturday.I was able to observe him up in the DJ booth, he worked very hard between picking out tracks, mixing, and playing the bongo drums.I think it paid off... the crowd seemed to be really into the music. He started off with a funkier kind of beat and then gradually moved towards the banging prog the D-man does best!My guess (and hope) is that we'll be seeing D:Fuse back at Avalon again before too many months go by.
