ibhugh
I did a post earlier today. Look for a post titled "good bar" there were some good responses on that. Good luck
stephc01
Turtle Bay (on 2nd Avenue, 52nd), Opal (is right around there also on like 52nd or 53rd, or Sutton Place (I think that's on 56th and 2nd Av of course). There is always the Times Square Brewery-although the crowd isn't all that great. The three above are good places.

chiefpax
bliss-49th/2nd (club/bar atmosphere) always draws a good after work crowd...dies out a little from 10-12 and then picks up till close..mica bar on 51st bet 2nd/3rd is ok too...in addition to a thousand other places downtown (drinkland, guernica) which are not large clubs
frankie_pep
Limelight ...You don't have to get all dressed up Plus it's going to be real good tonight------------------"Without sounding pretentious i don't view what i do as djin'....i look at it as makin' soundscapes with the music and the energy .....the clubs, and the people in the clubs (myself included) are the canvas.....let's paint!"
