pk1 Posted March 15 Report Share Posted March 15 It's been said before but I'll say it again. S&D own NYC. They absolutely killtt it! Big ups to Jimmy Van M for setting up the massacre. This guy doesn't get enough credit b/c of the 2 guys he sets up for but he always does one hell of a job. I will never forget the numerous amount of times Sasha or Digweed start off the very first set; eases the crowd into it for about 45mins to an hour.....then bang, drops the nasty. On Friday, Digweed was the first one to take over the tables at 12 and then at 1:10, he sounded off those fierce horns that set the entire place in a frenzy. We were standing directly under those horns when it went off and I think my ears are still ringing from it.As for Sasha, he threw down some sick break beats. All his tracks were so on point the entire night. The S&D crowd was fuckin awesome as usual. Props to the bartender chick who was freakin it on the bar., the friendly staff and bouncers, and of course Jimmy Van M, Sasha, and Diggers.
