weyes Posted May 3 Author Report Share Posted May 3 i was reminded of the quote when discussing a friend of my roommate's who has always been rude to me for no reason. my roommate was saying the two of us should "bury the hatchet," but i never had anything against him except that he was against me; that's pretty much most of what i know about him. the only other thing i know is that he also puts my roommate down. but if this "friend" of my roommate's were to act civil and be nice to other human beings, i'm sure he would reveal himself to be someone with a real personality, not just someone who makes fun of everyone else's. if he can grow up and do that, i'll be here, ready, waiting, and welcoming the reformed version.
