stymie
There is still hope...If all goes as planned, De la Hoya & Hopkins will both come out of this with a win and fight each other for the middleweight title. This fight will be held on September 5th (most likely) in Vegas. This could possibly be the biggest fight ever (money wise... ppv buys and combined purses). I think both fighters are physically out of their prime which makes this fight even more interesting. Someones gonna have to take a risk to win this one. Most likely Hopkins. If it comes down to a close decison Oscar is due (CUZ HE GOT FUCKED SO HARD AGAINST MOSLEY), Vegas is Oscars City too... the place literally comes to a hault when his camp roles into town before a fight. Also, Trinidad Vs. Mayorga will be a great fight. Under normal circumstances Tito would destroy Mayorga, but coming off a 3 year layoff he has to be rusty. Theres also the weight-loss factor. Tito was up to 200 lbs., he has to make 147 by the weigh in. Losing 50 pounds and then fighting at that wieght is dangerous. He wont be as stong as he use to be. Tito WILL brawl with Mayorga if he has to, and brawling is ALL Mayorga is gonna want to do. Should be a long back and forth fight. Fighters to watch - Jermaine Taylor, Kermit Cintron
groovefire
Tito was so fat last time I saw him, sitting in the crowd watching the Winky-Mosley fight.

lelo
AHHHHHH I'm getting really sick of boxing. Thank god that arrogant trash talker finally got his ass handed to him. Anyways Kimo vs. Shamrock in June. That should be a war. See what else is on the card for that UFC as well.
