firegirl Posted November 1 Report Share Posted November 1 you guys rocked last night! it was great to finally meet you! you gave me so many laughs, what a great bunch you are. thanks so much for coming out, you really added a lot to the experience. and thanks for free-flowing with the activity. when Pepper K and I started this, we had no idea it would grow so big (25 out of the expected 35, not including new parade-route recruits). and never having organized a parade group before we weren't quite prepared for some things...difficulty in getting to the meetup on time, the crowds at the lineup and waiting, how to facilitate the group forward during all the chaos, participanting devils all having different ideas of where we should go and what we should do...but you guys just ran with it and seemed to enjoy yourself among it all.our General K had a horrible time getting out of work, an ugly situation there. he was dressing enroute and didn't get the chance to finish his costume. he also didn't get the chance to address the army with some of his activities due to time. but though I had most of the upfront time, he was responsible for most of the behind-the-scenes work that made the army more than just a bunch of people hanging out...the D.O.A acronym, the candy-for-soul, the skulls, the flag.
