DJ Equipment tech question

Recommended Posts

Since I am upgrading my equipment pretty heavily I was wondering what I could do to protect my equipment for starters I have 2 techs, 2 pioneer cdj 1000, pioneer efx, rane rotary, crown 1000amp, powering a Yorkville Pulse PL315 what else should I put in there to help the sound quality as well as the life of my equipment?

Try a Aural Processor / Sonic Maximizer....

And def. get a serious Power Protector (Monstercable, Rackrider, etc..)

> Maybe you need a compressor-limiter if you are not the only one using this setup...

Hope this helps,

Yeah I was very much thinking of getting a sonic maxmimizer. Do you know of any particularly good ones? Another question with the power protector is since I have so much equipment with so many power cords......I have 2 outlet's behind my equipment in my wall....would it be bad to hook up 2 Power Protectors to these outlets? Thanks

Matt

BBE Sonic Maximizer is good - they have a few models out and they are not expensive either..

as far as a power protector - they have rackmounted ones that fit 10 or 12 plugs and then one outlet to the wall so that everything in the rack is on one line
