elementx Posted June 15 Report Share Posted June 15 Congrats to him. He is on his way out. But I am glad he got to the point that he did. You can tell in his swing that he is losing it. I know he has been hitting fairly well lately. But I would be as well when I know I am fighting for position. They should trade Lofton and Contreras and get some pitching... I think Contreras would do better somewhere else. And Lofton wants to play. And he is not going to get the playing time he wants in NY unless Bernie gets hurt. As long as the AL keeps the DH position he has a few years left. Take Edgar Martinez for example the guy is 73 years old and has no knees and he is still hitting the ball.
