sasser Posted August 5 Report Share Posted August 5 Raised Alert is Campaign TacticAccording to this article at non-partisan site Capitol Hill Blue, the terror alert issued was based on old information, and was planned weeks ago to correspond with the end of the Democratic National Convention.Of course you're asking "how would an increased threat help Bush's campaign". Well, it probably wouldn't, but it certainly would take focus off of any kind of surge the Democrats were getting from their invigorating convention, right?And that's not all, folks.Lest you not believe what you read, I have further sources: The Washington Post, The New York Times, and even MSNBC gets Tom Ridge to admit to it!And yes, even FOX News!
