A Real JP/Merge Review....

Recommended Posts

The first time JP played Merge I did say it was the most fun I have ever had out, this past Fri. was just as good. Great to see all the people from here having such a great time. JP was so on point and the energy level was through the roof at Merge. The system pumped out the greatest songs from the past 8 years or so. I have nothing to complain about. Shawn Ink had the dance floor going even before JP entered the building. Heres the track listing which I have stolen from Musicismylife aka Klee.

Shawn played Flow into "If I'm Not In Love" into his remix of Sinead O'Conner- Nothing Compares.

Vanessa Williams - First Thing On Your Mind

Innocente

Nation 2000 (AHHHH COME ON!!!!)

PNEU

Fast & Loose

He also played his remix of Janet Jackson - Pleasure Principal

Jonathan opened up with Lately

Amanda Ghost- Idol

Brainbug- Nightmare

Innocente

React

Lustral - Everytime

Computer Dreams

KnightBreed - Your Love Is Taking Me Over

Reina - Find Another Woman

Whitney Houston - It's Not Right But It's Ok

Get up forget the past. Go Outside and have a blast Acca

He ripped apart Paula Cole -

Then he went into "Deborah Cox - Never Knew"

Deep Kemical into Boots into GTI - Heartattack waiting to happen

Garth Brooks Dub

Goin Thru It -

In Your Eyes

How Would You Feel Dub into Vocal

He was gonna end it with Central Reservation but they shut him down.

--- For those who were there, what JP did to Keep Kemical and goin thru it was by far the musical highlight of my summer. Hats off to the Merge Brothers for letting the music go till 3:55.

I heard Shawn was amazing at Djais as well. Merge's dance floor blew its load on Nation 2000 into PNEW, one of the best reactions I have seen there. But nothing topped JP doing Kemical and goin thru it, he threw so much balls into those songs and ripped the hell out of them....

I love on every post you try to be funny, but your not. Keep trying.

I sure as hell could not rattle a song ID list like that off the top of my head. My review is on there, just gave credit for where the track listing came from. Nothing wrong with that Jr.

I thought it was a good night, I am still wondering how "how would you feel" is a classic"? Other than that, Great fucking time.

He always throws in a new song or two, one that will eventually be a classic.

He played goin thru it at the first classics party and the song was just released....
