barraquilla Posted October 19 Report Share Posted October 19 you could have it relaxed or try thermal reconditioning. both methods permanently straighten the hair exposed to the chemicals. or you could just blow dry / flat iron it straight and not add anything wet to it when styling. when i wear my hair straight, i use a product called semi di lino cristali serum. it prevents my hair from absorbing humidity and getting puffy. I will NEVER recommend anyone to do that ever again!Buy a Farouk Chi Flatiron!! Works like a miracle and doesn't break off your hair! barraquilla Posted October 20 Report Share Posted October 20 i agree, relaxing and thermal reconditioning are not healthy for the hair. nonetheless, they will make hair permanently straight and are a valid option for those who don't mind caring for chemically treated hair.it's a pain in the ass, but you can have relaxed hair w/o experiencing breakage.
